Graduate in Economics / Of Counsel
María José holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of the Republic of Uruguay (2003).
She completed a Postgraduate Degree in Business Management and Administration (2015); a Postgraduate Degree in Educational Management (2020); a Diploma in Curriculum and Assessment (2019); and a Diploma in Big Data for Business — Introduction to Big Data, Technologies and Analytics, Data Visualization, Employability, and Project (2019).
Since 2004, she has been a full-time Lecturer at the Catholic University of Uruguay, Faculty of Business Sciences, teaching courses such as National Economic Environment, Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, and Economic Analysis for Business. She also supervises final undergraduate projects in the online program “Starting a Business: First Steps” for students in the degrees of International Business, Public Accounting, Business Management, and Tourism.
Since 2016, she has been providing consulting services to companies in the development and maturation of new ideas, access to co-financing, implementation of innovative projects, business guidance for entrepreneurs, preparation of business plans, validation of business ideas, and applications to support programs for entrepreneurs including financing and follow-up.
